Total HCG is measured. The antibody recognizes HCG-β. It is useful for the diagnosis and prognosis management of trophoblastic diseases. This is the recommended method in"Terms of Management for Trophoblastic Disorders, 3rd Edition", and the measurement sensitivity is 1.0 mIU/mL.
