COMMENT


Avoid freezing. The cutoff value is 1.0 pg/mL for the diagnosis of sepsis due to Gram-negative bacteria. Those of 1.1 pg/mL or higher is suspected of sepsis caused by Gram-negative bacteria. Please avoid duplicate requests of items other than β-D-glucan. In this test, endotoxin in plasma is measured. Collect 2.0 mL of blood in a special container (PE2) and mix well. Please submit the data immediately under refrigeration as the data will be affected.
Collect blood in the container shown in the figure below and mix well. Please submit the data immediately under refrigeration as the data will be affected if preserved at room temperature.
